The legendary Amitabh Bachchan to star in a TV serial
Amitabh Bachchan is all set to make his acting debut on the small screen. After successfully hosting 6 seasons of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" , he will now entertain the TV audiences with his acting. Amitabh Bachchan also made his Hollywood debut this year with "The Great Gatsby".

The TV serial which will be directed by Anurag Kashyap is expected to go on air by the end of this year. Anurag Kashyap was quoted saying that this series will change the way that India sees television and will open doors for new genre in the small screen.
Amitabh Bachchan was shocked at the news of Jiah Khan's death who shared screen with the great actor in her debut film "Nishabd". In his blog Amitabh writes he does not understand why the youngsters take this extreme step.
Coming back to the Television debut , the plot and the characters of the TV series which is yet to be titled is being guarded from being leaked but rumours say that it will be based on social issues.
Another star from the big screen,Anil Kapoor, will be making his small screen screen debut with the Indian version of the TV series "24". Anil Kapoor has acted in the original version also and will be in the lead role of the desi version.
