Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" has created history by being the first Bollywood movie to cross the 100 crore mark in just 1 week of its release. The fun filled film had a great opening on 28th May (the biggest

opening on a non holiday Friday) and within 1 week it crossed the 100 crore mark, the new benchmark set in Bollywood.

This is Ayan Mukherjee's second film after the critically acclaimed "Wake Up Sid". The movie has received good reviews for the well executed script, star cast , the locations and the songs. "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" is not only about love but it also highlights strong emotions of friendship, ambitions and relations. The bond shared by friends has been show in the emotions shared by Ranbir , Kalki and Aditya Roy Kapoor.

Amitabh Bachchan -From hosting to acting in a TV serial....

Amitabh Bachchan is all set to make his acting debut on the small screen. After successfully hosting 6 seasons of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" , he will now entertain the TV audiences with his acting. Amitabh Bachchan also made his Hollywood debut this year with "The Great Gatsby".

The TV serial which will be directed by Anurag Kashyap is expected to go on air by the end of this year. Anurag Kashyap was quoted saying that this series will change the way that India sees television and will open doors for new genre in the small screen.

Amitabh Bachchan was shocked at the news of Jiah Khan's death who shared screen with the great actor in her debut film "Nishabd". In his blog Amitabh writes he does not understand why the youngsters take this extreme step. 

Coming back to the Television debut , the plot and the characters of the TV series which is yet to be titled is being guarded from being leaked but rumours say that it will be based on social issues. 

Another star from the big screen,Anil Kapoor, will be making his small screen screen debut with the Indian version of the TV series "24". Anil Kapoor has acted in the original version also and will be in the lead role of the desi version.

Atul Agnihotri confirms that Salman Khan will do a dance number and a few scenes in the movie, which is expected to release this year. Earlier also Salman did a special appearance in Atul Agnihotri's "Hello" . For all those who do not know, Atul is Salman's brother in law and was the producer of "Bodyguard"  which was a big hit in 2011. Salman has earlier worked in Atul's directorial debut "Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha" .

O Teri is a comedy movie being directed by Umesh Bhisht . Pulkit Samrat and Saraj jane Dias plays the lead roles in the movie.

Currently Salman Khan is busy shooting for Sohail Khan's "Mental". But Salman has always been know for being there for his family and friends. He has done a number of cameos for his friends whenever they needed him. 

Lets see if Salman proves to be the lucky mascot for Atul this time also.....

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani - a hit in US Box Office

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani , has made its way to the top 10 box Office performers of US. The fun filled love story has already crossed the weekend collections Salman Khan Starer "EK Tha Tiger"  and is racing towards the 100 cr club.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani produced by Karan Johar and Directed by Ayan Mukherjee was one of the most awaited films of the year. Its marks the onscreen reunion of Ranbir and Deepika post their break up.

It is not very often that a Bollywood flick makes it to the top 10 of the US Box Office, some managed to grab the 15^th  or 18^th position.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani opened strong with almost 100% occupancy at multiplexes and up to 70% at single screens. It is one of Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest opening till date. It has the fourth biggest opening of all times and highest for a non holiday release with a collection of 19.81 crore on its opening Friday.

Dhoom 3 bags 75 crores for satellite rights

Satellite Rights of Dhoom-3 sold for 75 cr.

Dhoom 3 the third installment of the Dhoom series has struck gold even before it is released. The sattelite movie which is currently under production has sold its satellite rights for a whooping 75 cr to Sony Entertainment Television . 

The currently underproduction third installment in the Dhoom franchise featuring Amir Khan,Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif in the lead is set to release on 25th December,2013. 

Amir Khan is playing the bad guy in this flick and this is the first time that Katrina Kaif is paired opposite Amir Khan.
